Worlds 78 countries welcome the MWL’s Quran memorization campaign

Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa insists on promotion of the Quran in the world.

 

Makkah Al-Mukarramah,7 January 2021 : At par with the interest of his Excellency the Secretary General of the Muslim World League Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa to the holy Quran, the Association strongly condemned the burning of the Holy Quran in the southern Swedish city of Malmo.Dr. Mohammad Alissa appreciated the measures taken by the Swedish authorities towards this individual and isolated crime, stressing that this incident does not reflect the behavior of the civilized Swedish people, who reject all forms of racism and hatred.

 
He affirmed that the Internationall Organization for Quran and Sunnah, affiliated unit of the World Muslim League have implemented  Programs for memorization and intonation of the Holy Quran in 78 countries that have officially appreciated the league. while its Quranic institutions have reached 68 colleges and institutes, in which 7,500 male as well as female students study, while 61275 reciters graduated, including 5055 graduates whose sanads are connected with Muhammad peace be upon him. The organisation has also organized 193 training courses and provided stipends to 3000 students approximately. 


Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa pays great attention to the Holy Quran's recitation, preservation, management and publication at the level of the Islamic world, as he stresses in every event and occasion he participates that a right understanding of the Holy Quran produces sensitive and aware people and fosters peace and harmony of ideas among them as it helps in avoiding any clash in the future. 


The Secretary of the Muslim World League, who is a member of the Supreme Council of Muslim Scholars and Chairman of international council for Quran reciters at the opening of the second session of the Council, stressed that the message that the Council focuses on is to serve the Holy Quran in improving teaching standards in the sphere of granting Quranic approval with the sanad connected to the Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him, including the conditions and regulations for granting approval, among them is the memorization of the Holy Quran and the book Manzoomatul Moqadama Aljazriyyah Fi Al Tajweed and comprehending its explanation.In the "Service of the Two Revelations" forum organized by the Muslim World League under the supervision of Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa at the Grand Mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the forum came out with several recommendations, most notably the promotion of religious discourse and adherence to the right approach to the Book and the Sunnah, which is in harmony with this era in which different cultures have come closer , demanding The International Board of Quran and Sunnah and the bodies and associations working in the field of teaching the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet to create practical programs to ponder over the texts of the revelations, in order to translate them into daily behavior of students of these bodies as well as common masses.


The forum also recommended encouraging the use of modern technologies, especially social media, in the service of the Quran and Sunnah. The forum also advised to link the nation’s youth with the Quran and Sunnah as well as employing their energies in this regard and establishing a platform for the production of software and smart applications pertaining to the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa worked, through the positions he held during his career, to support and motivate a number of Islamic countries to take care of the Holy Book and preserve it properly, and to propagate it among the youth, in order to spread tolerance and understanding among humanity.
